  • 7:30Drop-offs. Leashes off, roll call, first zoomies.
  • 9:00Yard opens in play groups. Ramps, tunnels, refereed wrestling.
  • 11:30Water break, and one-on-one time for the shy ones.
  • 12:30Nap time on cots, lights low. Yes, they actually sleep.
Before the first day

Three house rules.

Each rule exists so every dog in the yard has a good day, including yours.

Current vaccines

Rabies, DHPP, and bordetella, with records at the first visit. A photo texted ahead counts.

A meet and greet first

Every daycare dog starts with twenty minutes in the yard while we watch how they say hello. Most sail through; some need a second visit, and that is fine.

Spay or neuter by 8 months

Required for daycare past eight months old. Grooming welcomes everyone, fixed or not.

The groomers

Two of us, on purpose.

A small book means the same hands on your dog every visit, and a groomer who remembers that Luna hates the dryer.

Twenty-six years of scissors. Mari is the one nervous dogs lean into by the second visit. She books them extra time and rarely needs it.
